Guidelines for Applying Online


•   Read the notification for PG Private Registration 2016 carefully before applying online .

•   Application fee-Candidates should have details of the fee remitted before applying online.

      Modes of payment of fees are

      2. Friends Janasevana Kendra

      3. The University Cash counter at M.G University Campus

      Separate fee receipts are required as shown below before initiating online registration.

•   Documents-Candidates should possess the Pass Certificate/Provisional Certificate of Degree Course , Transfer Certificate in original and two copies of Class X Certificate clearly showing the details of the candidate. Migration Certificate is needed for those candidates who have passed their course last attended from a Board outside the state or from another University. Eligibility Certificate from MG University is needed for those who have passed their Degree course from a University outside Kerala or from a recognized Deemed University.

Certificates/documents required at the time of online registration: Relevant documents needed to fill up all the fields in the online application like name , date of birth, qualification, category, caste etc.

•   Photograph-For applying online, the candidate must have a digital /scanned image of his/her photograph taken within six months. The specification of the digital image of the photograph shall be as follows.

      1. Color photograph in JPEG format with a light color background.

      2. Size of the image file shall be between 15 KB and 50 KB

      3. Dimensions of the photograph shall be 150 pixels (width )and 200 pixels (height).

      4. Face of the candidate should be straight and clear

      5. Photo wearing dark glasses is not permitted

•   Email ID-Candidates shall possess a valid email ID. Keep this E-mail ID live and secure till the completion of the admission process of PG Private Registration 2016.If you do not have an email ID, a new ID must be created before applying online.

•   Mobile Phone number-¬≠Provide a 10 digit number of your or your parent's mobile phone. The number shall not be prefixed with country code or zero. The mobile number provided by you facilitates the office to communicate any special information through SMS.

•   Computer System -Shall have a computer system with a secure internet connection and a printer. The System shall have a pdf reader installed in it.
The printout of all pages of the online application shall be taken in laser / inkjet printer in A4 size portrait (white paper only)

Steps involved in Online Application

Refer Appendix I of the PG Private Register Notification 2016 for step by step procedure for online submission of the application

Step I- Click the link "Click Here to Register" given at the bottom of this page.

Step II-Fill up the details very carefully. The Applicant should be very careful while selecting the Centre of Examination, Course and other details. The data provided online will be used for processing the application. Any mistake in filling this page or providing false/incomplete/wrong information may end up in the rejection of the application.

Step III-In the online application portal Candidates will see a section named 'upload photograph'. Click on the browse button and select the location where scanned /digital image file has been saved in your computer. If the prescribed specifications are met, the selected image will be uploaded.

Step IV-After completing the online application, press Register button. A message showing the details entered will be displayed. If the details shown are found correct , then press OK button. Then an application number will be displayed and this application number shall be noted for further reference.

Step V-Click on the link 'DOWNLOAD APPLICATION FORM' available on the last page to get the pdf file to print the application. See the Instructions given on the page to send the hardcopy of the application in order to process your application,by the University.

Step VI-If you fail to take printout of your application after the registration page is closed, you can download the same using the link given below. Use Application number as user id and date of birth as password.
